This unit applies to loss adjusting coordination job roles but does not cover assessment and analysis of evidence and data relating to a loss situation. It may be applied within organisations of various sizes and across a range of customer bases.
This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to use high level analytical, liaison and planning skills to interact with clients, authorities and specialists in coordinating loss investigations that determine the extent of loss, damage or injury.
This unit is applicable to individuals working within enterprises and job roles subject to licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements including legislation administered by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC).
